Teaching Philosophy

In an era  dominated by technology and screens, I am convinced that the art of music is essential to discover new realms of creativity and expression. Through my piano and music lessons, I help my students improve memory, concentration, and problem-solving skills.  My goal is to provide them with strong foundations to discover their own musical experiences and develop valuable abilities such as cognitive, emotional, social and academic strengths.

Here is what you can expect from my lessons:

  • Customized Approach: I adapt to each student’s needs and personalities, incorporating exercises and music games to keep lessons fun and engaging.

  • Comprehensive Learning: Lessons cover music theory, sight reading, music history, creativity, body expression and artistry.

  • Royal Conservatory of Music: Did you know that RCM certificates are recognized for secondary school credits in every province in Canada? I integrate this prestigious program, along with other methods such as Suzuki that emphasize listening, imitation, and repetition skills to motivate students to pursue exams for structured learning and validations of their achievements.

  • Personal Connections: I believe in building strong relationships with my students and their families to foster a supportive and inspiring learning environment.

  • Recitals: I organize two piano recitals per year where students can share their progress with family and friends.
